Performance Decorating Limited owned and operated since 2007 by husband and wife team, Luke and Amanda Mende, reflects their passion for the beautiful Wairarapa region which in their time off they enjoy exploring with their four children.

Luke left school at 16 and got a job at a painting company in Rotorua, where he soon realised he had a real passion for painting. At 24 he moved to the Wairarapa to be closer to family and in August 2007, he established Performance Decorating Limited.

In 2016 Luke became a qualified painter through BCITO Skills Recognition, taking the next step in his journey to ensure Performance Decorating Limited remains at the top of it’s field.

Performance Decorating Limited currently has a team of 5 - Our highly skilled employees have decades of experience between them.

As a company we believe in the importance of training not only the next generation of painters but also upskilling the current ones. We are proud to say our team are BCITO qualified, we hold Site Safe Passports, have four Comprehensive First Aiders, have Lead Based Paint Management Certification and Elevated Work Platform training.

We believe everyone has a right to go home safe each and every day after work and know that training holds an important part in keeping everyone safe, we run the Health and Safety app Site App Pro to ensure we are always on top of our Health and Safety.
